Fodor's Review:
Whew! This is some show. In an amphitheater, a Transylvanian castle is the backdrop for Beetlejuice, who takes the stage and warms up the audience with his snappy lines, rude remarks, and sarcastic attitude. Then for some reason, which is hard or useless to remember, he introduces the stars of the show: Frankenstein's monster and his bride, the Werewolf, and Dracula. Thus begins a stage show never before seen on this planet. At some point, the monsters doff their traditional costumes in favor of glitzy and hip threads and sing the greatest hits of such diverse artists as Bruce Springsteen, the Village People, and Van Halen. Upping the weirdness factor, two Solid Gold-style dancers add sex appeal to the production. Despite a sense of pity for the performers (which once included NSync's Joey Fatone and comedian Wayne Brady), this may be the only place you could see Frankenstein pretending to play an electric guitar and shout "Are you ready to rock, Orlando?" Don't be fooled by imitators.
