Green Meadows Farm

Fodor's Review:

Friendly farmhands keep things moving on the two-hour guided tour ofGreen Meadows Farm -- a 40-acre property with almost 300 animals. There's little chance to get bored and no waiting in line, because tours are always starting. Everyone can milk the fat mama cow, and chickens and geese are turned loose in their yard to run and squawk while city slickers try to catch them. Children take a quick pony ride, and everyone gets jostled about on the old-fashioned hayride. Youngsters come away saying, "I milked a cow, caught a chicken, petted a pig, and fed a goat." Take U.S. 192 for 3 mi east of I-4 to South Poinciana Boulevard; turn right and drive 5 mi.

  • Cost: $19; discount coupons online
  • Open: Daily 9:30-5:30; last tour at 4 PM
