$-$$$, Eclectic, Winter Park
Fodor's Review:
The good wine list and imaginative menu tend to attract quite a crowd of locals. Dexter's has its own wine label and publishes a monthly newsletter about wine. Two of the best entrées here are the chicken tortilla pie -- a stack of puffy, fried tortillas layered with chicken and cheese -- and the pistachio-crusted black grouper served with seared shrimp and scallops. There's often live music on Thursday night. The Thornton Park location is just east of downtown Orlando; you may be the only out-of-towner here. If you're north of town, stop at the Lake Mary location in Colonial Town Park.
