It's a family-oriented hotel on the more upscale part of I-Drive, near the convention center. The entrance is on Universal Boulevard, the relatively undiscovered thoroughfare a block east of I-Drive, so, despite the proximity to the tourist strip, things are still serene here. The king rooms and suites have refrigerators and microwaves, and although there's no restaurant the hotel provides free Continental breakfast daily, and there are a half-dozen eateries nearby. Round-trip shuttle service to Universal or SeaWorld costs 75. Pros: within walking distance of I-Drive restaurants and attractions; free breakfast; cheap shuttle to Universal and SeaWorld. Cons: no restaurant; no room service.
