Two malls and four annexes make Prime Outlets Orlando the area's largest collection of outlet stores. One of the best places to find deals is Off 5th, the Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet. There are almost always sales under way, allowing you to pick up high-end labels at sometimes ridiculously low prices. The same may prove true for the Nieman Marcus Last Call Clearance Center, scheduled to join the Prime Outlet shopping area as part of a massive remodel. A two-phase construction plan calls for a completely revamped shopping complex to be finished and cha-chinging by mid-2008. Other names to search out while there include Michael Kors, the Escada Company Store, and a Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store. Don't worry about the construction cutting into your shopping. Stores are remaining open during the facelift. Especially popular are the outlets for athletic shoes: Converse, Reebok, Foot Locker, and Nike. There are also good buys in housewares and linens in such outlets as Pfaltzgraff, Corning/Revere, Mikasa, and Fitz & Floyd. Don't worry about carting home breakable or cumbersome articles: these stores will ship your purchases anywhere in the United States by UPS. And just to be sure you don't run out of steam before you run out of money, Prime Outlets runs a free trolley between its Design Center, Mall 1, and Annex.
