With 25,000 square feet of meeting space, the University of Florida's flagship hotel caters most obviously to business travelers. Its location on the southwest corner of the campus also makes it a good choice for UF visitors. Guest rooms, which look like they came straight off the Rooms To Go show floor (blond-wood armoires, overstuffed couches with geometric-pattern throw pillows), have two phones with voice mail, large work desks, coffeemakers, MP3 players, and complimentary high-speed Internet. Pros: proximity to college; free Internet; spacious rooms. Cons: 4 pm check-in; spotty service; overrated restaurant.
