Fodor's Review:

After more than 25 years of dominance in Jacksonville, the colorful and quirky family-owned eatery finally lands at the beach with the same ambitious menu of sandwiches, salads, and soups; overflowing gourmet-food section; mind-boggling beer list; and cookies big enough to knock someone unconscious. An impressive, hand-carved bar is a favorite hangout for thirsty locals who belly up for monthly beer tastings and daily happy hour 2-7 pm. The senior crowds prefer to sip their carafes of Zinfandel in the bustling dining room.
