The Magnolia Plantation Bed and Breakfast Inn Review
You'll be within minutes of historic downtown and the University of Florida, and owners Joe and Cindy Montalto will welcome you like old friends, whether you stay in the main house, built in 1885, or in one of six adorable cottages. The inn's unique French Second Empire architecture is one of only a handful of such examples in the southeastern United States. All rooms have a gas fireplace and private baths. Though the inn is just minutes from downtown, it is surrounded by lush tropical gardens, fountains, and ponds across the nearly 2-acre property. A full breakfast is standard fare and is served in the formal dining room or delivered to your cottage. Children and pets are welcome with prior approval.

Can you recommend this or would you recommend somewhere else that might have a tropical island feel?
