Sea Horse Oceanfront Inn

Fodor's Review:

Lacking the hoity-toity decor and amenities of other beachfront properties, this bright pink and aqua '50s throwback (you check in at the motel office, not a grand lobby) caters to budget-minded guests seeking an ultracasual, laid-back vibe. Rooms are modestly decorated and equipped, but feature an ocean view with a private balcony or patio. The kidney-shaped pool and lounge chairs are pretty standard issue but make for a refreshing respite from the hot Florida sun. The Lemon Bar is a hot spot for locals and hotel guests. Pros: beach access with private walk-over; popular bar on-site; walking distance to restaurants and shops. Cons: no-frills decor; no room service.

  • Hotel Details: 39 rooms, 1 suite
  • In-room: kitchen, refrigerator, Wi-Fi.
  • In-hotel: bar, pool, beachfront, parking (paid).
  • Credit Cards: AE, D, MC, V
