Book NowHyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront Review
It doesn't get much more convenient than this 19-story, downtown, waterfront hotel within walking distance of Jacksonville Landing, Florida Theatre, Times-Union Center, corporate office towers, and the county courthouse. The property on the north bank of the St. Johns River has casual dining at Trellises as well as the Jaxx Sports Bar, an on-site Starbucks, and a bagel shop. Rooms have Florida-style decor, triple-sheeted beds, pillow-top mattresses, and sliding-glass doors. Since northeast Florida's largest hotel encompasses 110,000 square feet of meeting space, chances are pretty good you'll share an elevator with someone wearing a name tag (if you're not wearing one yourself).

I stayed here while in Jacksonville on a conference and I couldn't have been happier. It has a great location--right next to the Jacksonville Landing, which is a lively collection of bars, restaurants and shops right on the water, and I even walked to a baseball game at the Jacksonville baseball grounds (right next to the arena and stadium) one night. My room was very comfortable, especially the bed--I didn't want to get out of it!! The sliding glass door opened up so at night I could look out over the river and catch the breeze--talk about relaxing! The food was first class and I have probably never experienced such friendly employees. The people and the hotel made what could have been a really boring business trip into a "mini-vacation!"
