After the condo-building boom of the last decade or so, not many oceanfront restaurants remain, but thankfully this is one of them. Indeed there aren't many places where you can enjoy an ocean view like this—a surf break offshore makes it a good place to watch surfers do their thing—and even fewer with a moderately priced menu that allows for an affordable family outing. These are some of the reasons Sliders has evolved into a local favorite, but another is its award-winning Florida seafood dishes, including shrimp and grits, and Apalachicola oysters in season. Sliders also has three bars and live music every night, including the region's favorite reggae band, Pili Pili, on Wednesday.
