Whether you browse the antiques shops and are drawn into having lunch or the other way around, there's plenty of temptation to go around here. Housed in the magnificent Lightner Museum—the luxurious Hotel Alcazar in its 1890s incarnation—this lovely little lunch spot sits where wealthy winter tourists once frolicked in the nation's largest indoor pool. The balconies that rise on all four sides are lined with intriguing stores, so it's easy for a relaxing lunch to expand
into an entire afternoon of shopping pleasure. The food is good if slightly pricey, but it's beautifully presented in an atmosphere of elegance. Dinner is served on the first Friday of every month.
