Florida House Inn Review

Under new ownership, the recently restored inn has a rambling two-story clapboard main building, more than 150 years old, that is full of character. Rooms have handmade quilts and hooked rugs, king-size beds, and whirlpool tubs. Some even have fireplaces. The Frisky Mermaid Bar and Grille, a lively first-floor pub, can be a blessing or a curse, depending on whether you're trying to catch up on your social skills or your sleep. Request a room in the south wing if you're attempting the latter.
