Fodor's Review

Parents looking for a nonsandy way to occupy the kids for a few hours or a whole day may find their salvation at this colorful complex that features go-carts, an 18-hole miniature golf course, a 3,000-square-foot laser tag arena, a 25-foot rock wall, a video arcade with over 100 games, a water park with 11 different slides, and a 500,000-gallon tidal-wave pool. More adult entertainment—in the form of pool tables, dart boards, and plasma TVs—can be found in Gilligan's

Sports Bar and Grill.

Daytona Lagoon Review

You can walk in with a Powerade but not a Gatorade. Are you kidding me???? I got into an argument with management over it and was thrown out with my 3 year old. My family and I are locals and purchased 10 season passes. After that me nor my family will ever return. They just wanted me to purchase the over priced food and drink they sell. Well no thank you, I have tried that and the food is TERRIBLE. If I wanted to spend 100 dollars on a park I would

go to Disney or Universal. Anyone vacationing in Daytona avoid Daytona Lagoon, Orlando is only an hour away and they have way more parks. Not to mention like three or four water parks. They also know how to treat their patrons.

not recommended

Very unfriendly staff & definately lacking in customer service skills. No one smiled, the lifeguards all stared/glared & blew their whistles & pointed when someone went the wrong direction. No words used, just pointed. ?? Signs or roping off nonguest areas would have saved confusion & helped out. It was not busy at all the ratio of lifeguards to guests was 1:1 or higher number of lifeguards than guests. There were maybe 20 guests total all day long.

The locals must know about the poor reputation this place has. The telephone recording stated that they open at 10am but was actually 11am, we were hollared at when we entered although there were no signs or blocked off entrance.Very rude teenage staff that definately need some customer service classes. Just one smile or "welcome to Daytona Lagoon" would have been nice. Sorry, would not advise this place to anyone!!!Save your money.
