Michele and Henry Salgado own this modern Cuban and Spanish eatery, which many locals think is the best restaurant in New Smyrna Beach. Though many consider the cuisine to represent fine dining, overall the restaurant is casual and unpretentious. Henry combines his Cuban grandmother's recipes with local ingredients for knockout results. Start with the fried green plantains or local clams steamed in white wine, garlic, and tomato. For your main course, try the yuca-crusted
fresh fish or mojo-marinated grilled ribeye. Be sure to save room for one of Michele's desserts. Sunday sees a brunch from 11 to 3.
