Michele and Henry Salgado own this modern Cuban and Spanish eatery, which many locals think is the best restaurant in New Smyrna Beach. Though many consider the cuisine to represent fine dining, overall the restaurant is casual and unpretentious. Henry combines his Cuban grandmother's recipes with local ingredients for knockout results. Start with the fried green plantains with avocado salsa or local clams with Serrano ham, fresh mango, and tarragon cream. For your main course, try the yuca-crusted fresh fish or char-grilled chimichurri-marinated fillet. Be sure to save room for one of Michele's desserts. Sunday sees a brunch from 11 to 3.
