Fodor's Review

You can enjoy the grace and elegance of the past and all the modern amenities at this surprisingly inexpensive B&B. It's within Jacksonville's historic Riverside neighborhood, yet it's also a reasonable walk from many contemporary upscale restaurants and cultural offerings. The three spacious guest rooms are each furnished with antiques but also offer TVs, DVD players, high-speed Internet, and Wi-Fi access. All have private baths (two with antique soaking tubs), work desks, comfortable reading chairs, free Wi-Fi, and the necessities for making coffee and tea. You can go out and about to the nearby antiques stores and Riverside/Avondale shops or just lounge on the porches and catch a breeze from the river just a block away. Innkeeper Joan Moore provides a full breakfast and can accommodate special diets with advance notice.
