Metrobus stops are marked by blue-and-green signs with a bus logo and route information. The frequency of service varies widely, so call in advance to obtain specific schedules. The fare is $1.50(exact change), transfers 50¢; 75¢ with 10¢ transfers for people with disabilities, senior citizens (65 and older), and students. Some express routes carry surcharges of $1.85. Reduced-fare tokens, sold seven for $10, are available from Metropass outlets. All trains and stations are accessible to persons with disabilities; lift-equipped buses for people with disabilities are available on more than 50 routes, including one from the airport that links up with many routes in Miami Beach as well as Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Hialeah, and Kendall. Miami Beach has a tourism hotline with information on accessibility, sign language interpreters, rental cars, and area recreational activities for the disabled.
