The Dutch Miami

The Dutch Miami Review

Loft meets cozy-kitchen at the Miami outpost of Chef Andrew Carmellini's NYC foodie hot spot. Located in the swank W South Beach Hotel, the Dutch takes on a personality all its own, adorned with cute tchotchkes and ornamental objects set along white bookshelves. There's a bit of everything on the "roots-inspired American menu," from local line-caught fish to homemade pastas and the full gamut of steaks. Dinner begins with a twist on a Southern classic—a corn-bread loaf with a hint of jalapeño. Two dishes that may blow your mind are the Maine sea scallops with heirloom cauliflower and citrus, and the yellowtail crudo with watermelon and jalapeño. It's worth coming here for this dish alone.
