Bayfront Park Review
This pedestrian-friendly waterfront park sits on a 32-acre site smack in the heart of downtown Miami on Biscayne Bay; there's a small walking trail and three major event spaces: Bicentennial Park, Tina Hills Pavilion, and Klipsch Amphitheater at Bayfront Park. American sculptor Isamu Noguchi helped redesign the park in the late 1980s, gracing the site with several works, including the white Challenger Memorial, commemorating the space shuttle that exploded in 1986. If you want to live like a local, join in the free yoga on the bayfront Monday and Wednesday (6 pm) or Saturday (9 am). At the park's north end, you'll reach the colossal Bayside Marketplace entertainment, dining, and retail complex, which is particularly popular with cruise passengers as well as visitors from South America.
