Fodor's Review:
Cool blues and grays mix with bizarre modernist paintings and stainless-steel accents in the lobby, which leads into a sedate little courtyard at this midrange hotel. Wave's in-room innovation is its (eponymously memorable) wave sound machine next to each platform bed -- perfect for soothing jangled nerves after an encounter with Collins Avenue's wired nightclub scene. Pros: Quiet location and good value. Cons: Interiors design of questionable taste and few comforts.
