Angler's Boutique Resort Review

This enclave of upscale studios, bi-level duplexes, and villas captures the feel of a sophisticated private Mediterranean villa community, making it easy to forget that the hotel is on busy Washington Avenue, two blocks from the beach. The wonderfully contemporary tower units have private sunning gardens or rooftop terraces with hot tubs, and single-floor kings are set around a lovely pool. An air of serenity and privacy pervades at this discreet little oasis, built in 1930 by architect Henry Maloney and visited by Ernest Hemingway.
