Epic Hotel

Book NowEpic Hotel Review
Located in the heart of downtown, alongside glittery high-rise condominiums, the Epic Hotel is a real gem. Even the most basic rooms are outfitted with Frette linens, iPod docking stations, 37-inch flat-screen TVs, and high-end bath amenities. Best of all, each room boasts a balcony and beautiful views of Biscayne Bay. The hotel caters to both business and leisure travelers, but has recently seen a huge influx of pleasure-seekers, thanks in part to its association with the fresh, young, and fun Kimpton brand. The seductive pool area comes to life seven days a week, especially during the complimentary wine hour at 5 pm. The hotel's restaurant, Area 31, is an elegant, delicious seafood restaurant on the 16th floor, flying high with an advanced concept of sustainable cuisine. Pros : sprawling pool deck with a view of the water; complimentary wine in the lobby every day from 5 to 6 pm; complimentary in-room yoga mats and yoga television programming; tennis courts and golf courts available through partnerships with nearby tennis clubs and golf courses. Cons : not located directly near the beach; some rooms overlook tall condominiums and office buildings.

Can you recommend this or would you recommend somewhere else that might have a tropical island feel?
