$-$$$, Mediterranean, Coral Gables
Fodor's Review:
Chef Stuart Bornstein's lace-curtained café with sidewalk tables would be at home across from a railroad station in Avignon or Bordeaux. The setting is utterly French, the little hotel it's in evokes the Mediterranean, and the cuisine is global. Lighter dishes include moist couscous chicken and pasta primavera. Among the heartier entrées are a plum-, soy-, and lemon-glazed fillet of salmon; sesame-coated loin of tuna; and local yellowtail snapper.
