Fodor's Review:
Dark wood, mirrors, and green upholstery define this chic, masculine place, where big platters of meats and fish are served family style, assuming yours is a royal family. Tuscan can be busy as a subway stop, and still the staff is gracious and giving. The chefs take their cues from the Tuscan countryside, where pasta is rich with truffles and main plates are simply but deliciously grilled. Sip red wine with a house specialty: three-mushroom risotto with white truffle oil, gnocchi with Gorgonzola cream, Florentine T-bone with roasted garlic puree, or filet mignon with a Gorgonzola crust in a red-wine sauce. Portions are enormous. Bring your friends and share, share, share.
