  • Location: Downtown

Fodor's Review:

Before the building boom of the last five years, this was the tallest building in Miami. You can walk across Bicentennial Park, at the foot of the hotel, to Bayside Marketplace. From the pool deck enjoy views of the Metromover, Brickell Avenue, the booming port, the beautiful bay, Bayside, and Key Biscayne. The lobby's polished marble is softened by palms and oversize wicker. If you need to do a little work, you'll appreciate the rooms' printer/fax/copy machines, data ports, voice mail, and ergonomically designed chairs. Pros: Sunny pool deck with good views, close to Bayside and port of Miami, and Starbucks in lobby. Cons: Older and less luxurious than many other downtown hotels.
