Villa Paradiso
Fodor's Review:
One of South Beach's best deals, Paradiso has huge apartmentlike rooms with kitchens, and a charming tropical courtyard with benches for hanging out at all hours. There's even another smaller courtyard on the other side of the rooms. Peeking out from a sea of tropical foliage, the hotel seems at first to be a rather unassuming piece of deco architecture. But for all its simplicity, value shines bright. Rooms have polished hardwood floors, French doors, and quirky wrought-iron furniture. They are well suited for extended visits -- discounts begin at 10% off for a week's stay. Pros: Great hangout spot in courtyard, huge rooms with kitchens, good value, and great location. Cons: No wireless Internet, no pool, and no restaurant.
