The immense Eden Roc Renaissance Resort and Spa, like the Fountainbleau, was designed by Morris Lapidus and drew top entertainers in the 1960s -- Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr., for example. It's known architecturally for its dramatic sunken lobby and golden fleur-de-lis motifs.
