Lyric Theater

Fodor's Review:

Once one of the major centers of entertainment for the African-American community, the Lyric showcased more than 150 performers including Aretha Franklin, Count Basie, Sam Cooke, B.B. King, Ella Fitzgerald, and the Ink Spots. The restored theater is now the anchor site of the Historic Overtown Folklife Village.
