Though SushiSamba branched out from NYC to Miami Beach back in 2001, it remains as trendy as ever, with the long wait times to prove it. Like its six sister locations, SushiSamba Miami Beach doles out flavor explosions of East-meets-South, fusing Japanese, Peruvian, and Brazilian cuisines to create an off-the-grid small-plates experience, this time in the heart of pedestrian-friendly Lincoln Road. The results are succulent and superb: skewers of miso-marinated sea bass over roasted corn, crunchy hamachi taquitos (yellowtail tartare with spicy aji panca sauce), mocqueca mista (Brazilian seafood stew), and South Beach–inspired sushi rolls, including the signature Samba Dromo, filled with lobster, mango, and peanut curry. Always packed with customers, both indoors and out, the blaring beats, great eats, and amazing cocktails are a fabulous rare find of timeless trendiness on South Beach.

It has a pretty good mix of japansese and spanish flavor. Also good ceviche and green envy roll.

We had a goup of 12....they confirmed our reserevation two hours prior to our arrival. They sat us at 3 small tables w/ two guests on small (very small stools) hanging on to the last table. Not very comfortable. The waiter said they hoped we would sit outside....not in the rain. Aside from a few of the guests being uncomfortable, the place rocks......great sushi, cooked food, peruvian Specialties and outstanding desserts. Go when it's not raining
