Baseball in Miami

Baseball

The Florida Marlins did what few thought possible; they came out of nowhere to beat the New York Yankees and win the 2003 World Series. Now the only thing lacking is a baseball-only stadium with a retractable roof to use on rainy days; they currently play home games at Dolphin Stadium, April through early October. Dolphin Stadium, 2267 N.W. 199th St., 16 mi northwest of Downtown, between I-95 and Florida's Tpke., Miami. 305/626-7400 or 877/627-5467. www.marlins.mlb.com. $9-$80, parking $10.
