Fodor's Review:

If you're looking for a sophisticated, intimate dining experience in Miami Beach, La Marea is unmatched. There are two dining areas—on the hedge-edged terrace that leads to the entrance of The Tides hotel or inside the coolly surreal dining room: dramatic faux tortoise shells line the walls and hooded wood chairs line the outer tables. Everything on the menu is tasty, but Chef Pietro Rota seems to put extra love into his native Italian dishes. A squid ink-dyed fettuccini al'Aragosta served with lobster, olive oil, and garlic is a delight; the Burrata mozzarella is a dream of perfect freshness and creaminess.
