Fodor's Review:

To accommodate the demanding clientele of this exclusive boutique hotel as well as anyone willing to wait two weeks for a reservation, Casa Tua provides a charming restaurant. You can dine inside or alfresco under the trees. Either way, the idea is to make you feel as if you were at home in a Mediterranean beach house. The food is Italian—sophisticated yet simple dishes, such as truffle risotto and seared diver scallops with an artichoke puree. The service is seamless and relaxed. And the elegant experience is a peaceful respite from Miami Beach's dizzying energy.

We were there for an early (7:00 p.m.) dinner and had no trouble getting an outdoor table. The pavered patio is blocked off of James street by dense hedges and one feels very secluded. No less than three servers assisted us through the night. Rosario (sp?) was excellent in her recommendations. The food had the freshest of ingredients. The Zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta and goat cheese ($12) was a terrific antipasti. My risotto di Farro with lobster and black truffle sauce ($28) was filling and tasty. The Orecchiette with scampi, clams and zucchini ($26) was made with home-made orecchiette and was perfect. Lastly, we shared a seared branzino with roasted vegetables, wild capers and nicoise olives ($42). PHENOMENAL!!! The Tiramisu was light and rich; the creme brulee was heavenly. I give this my best recommendation. While we sat outdoors, fine seating was to be had in the faux living room type dining room. There was also an 18-seating in an area which looks into the chef's kitchen. Reservations highly recommended, especially if you want outdoor seating.
