Fodor's Review:

Sandwiched between the Setai and the Shore Club—two of the hottest hotels on the planet—the Townhouse looks like an adult playhouse, and fits the bill as the most lighthearted hotel on South Beach. The rooms aren't as luxurious, and you won't find many amenities (no gym, no spa, no pool), but if you want to stay in the midst of the action for $250 a night, this may be a good choice. Enter through a brightly lit lobby decorated with red-plastic beach balls, red bicycles and, you guessed it, red furniture, and head to a small but freshly adorned white-and-red room. The coolest part of the hotel is a rooftop terrace with plush red-lounge chairs, a funky DJ, and a breathtaking view of the strip. Townhouse Terrace is where weekend nights start for many on Miami's party circuit, so if you're ready to party but unsure of where to go, head upstairs and keep your ears open. A hip sushi restaurant, Bond St. Lounge, is downstairs, and delivers to rooms during restaurant hours. With its clean white backdrops and discounts for crew members, there's always a good chance a TV production or magazine shoot is happening. Pros: a great budget buy for the style-hungry. Cons: no pool; small rooms not designed for long stays.
