This small, fun museum is chock-full of hands-on sound, gravity, and electricity displays for children and adults alike—but you may feel the $20 entry fee is a bit much for a museum that's looking a little tired. However, with its wildlife center that houses native Florida snakes, turtles, tortoises, and birds of prey make for a fun rainy day. The traveling exhibits that appear throughout the year are often excellent. If you're here the first Friday of the month, stick around for a laser-light rock-and-roll show, presented in the planetarium at 9, 10, and 11, or just check out the Weintraub Observatory for free.
