Media in Key West

Media

Newspapers & Magazines

The best of the publications covering Key West are the weekly Solares Hill and the daily Key West Citizen. For the Upper and Middle Keys, turn to the semiweekly Keynoter. The Free Press, Reporter, and Upper Keys Independent cover the same area once a week. The Miami Herald publishes a Keys edition with good daily listings of local events. The weekly Celebrate and the monthly Southern Exposure are good sources of entertainment and information for gay and lesbian travelers.

Television & Radio

WLRN (National Public Radio) is 91.3, 92.1, and 93.5, depending on where you are in the Keys. Try WKLG 102.1 bilingual (English and Spanish) for adult contemporary; WCTH 100.3 for country; WFKZ 103.1 for classic rock; WKEZ 96.9 for easy listening; WFFG AM 1300 Keys for talk radio, sports, and news; and WKYZ 101.3 for country.
