Adventure Landing and Shipwreck Island Water Park

Fodor's Review:

With go-karts, two miniature-golf courses, laser tag, batting cages, kiddie rides, and arcade, Adventure Landing is more like an old-timey boardwalk than a high-tech amusement park. But when the closest theme park is more than two hours away, you make do. The largest family entertainment center in Northeast Florida also encompasses Shipwreck Island Water Park, which features a lazy river for tubing, a 500,000-gallon wave pool, and three extreme slides -- the Rage, HydroHalfpipe, and Eye of the Storm.

  • Cost: Adventure Landing: free (fees for rides and games), Shipwreck Island: $23.99
  • Open: Adventure Landing: Mon.-Thurs. and Sun. 10 AM-11 PM, Fri. and Sat. 10 AM-midnight. Shipwreck Island: hrs vary (call for specific dates and times); Shipwreck Island closed late Sept.-late Mar.
