Fodor's Review:
The Appleton Museum of Art, a three-building cultural complex, is a marble-and-granite tour de force with a serene esplanade and reflecting pool. The collection lives up to its surroundings, thanks to more than 6,000 pre-Columbian, Asian, and African artifacts and 19th-century objets d'art.
