Fodor's Review:
Oh so Euro in feel, this boutique hotel is just enough removed from 5th Avenue's traffic to feel private while convenient. Wrought-iron balconies and shade trees set the stage outside; inside, the elegant lobby has high ceilings, a working granite fireplace, plush furnishings, and a library that doubles as a wine-and-beer bar and breakfast room. Rooms are large and lavishly furnished, with heavy draperies. Pros: close to stores and restaurants, elegant setting, spacious rooms. Cons: limited facilities, must drive to beach.
