One of the island's first condo hotels, this 12-story class act has one- and two-bedroom suites, done in royal blues and golds. All rooms face the gulf and the property's crescent-shaped rooftop pool (on the fifth floor). The bathrooms are full of marble. The Sale e Pepe Tuscan-style restaurant wins raves and awards. Golf and tennis are nearby. Pros: top-rate dining, beach location, full amenities with a boutique feel. Cons: high-priced, a rather squeezed feel, near big, busy resort.

This is a fabulous hotel. The rooms are very clean, staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the restaurants are wonderful. Can't wait to return!
