Fodor's Review:

Adventurous southwestern fusion fare helps you escape the ordinary at this small, stylish enclave (next to the Gateway movie theater at Sunrise Boulevard and Federal Highway) run for the past dozen years by owner and executive chef Chris Wilber. Take, for example, the ostrich skewers, smoked salmon tostada, or coriander-crusted tuna with sticky rice. Chipotle, wasabi, jalapeño, mango, and red chilies accent fresh seafood and wild game. Start off with Canyon's famous prickly-pear margaritas or choose from a well-rounded wine list or beer selection.
