For an ever-so-thrilling Everglades experience, take an airboat ride at Sawgrass Recreation Park. You'll see all sorts of plants and wildlife, from birds and alligators to turtles, snakes, and fish. Besides the ride, your entrance fee covers admission to an Everglades nature exhibit; a native Seminole village; and exhibits about alligators, other reptiles, and birds of prey. A souvenir shop, food service, boat rental, and an RV park with hookups are also at the park.

Open: Weekdays 7-6, weekends 6-6; airboat rides daily 9-5
