Fort Lauderdale and Broward County Sights

Sawgrass Recreation Park

Sawgrass Recreation Park Review

For Everglades thrills, take a half-hour airboat ride here. You'll see all manner of plants and wildlife, from birds and alligators to turtles, snakes, and fish. Besides the ride, your entrance fee covers admission to an Everglades nature exhibit; a native Seminole village; and exhibits on alligators, other reptiles, and birds of prey.

This trip was well worth the money. You take an air boat ride out through the everglades. We saw several alligators. The only complaint would be the ride isn't long enough. Once you complete your 30 minute ride, they have exhibits you get to see. The kids really enjoyed it. They got to hold a real alligator which was extremely neat. It's a definitely must when in Fort Lauderdale.
