Broward Center for the Performing Arts

My gf and I watched Wicked and we absolutely loved it. Then, I purchased tickets (for her birthday) for HAIR, but unfortunately, we missed the show due to wrong scheduling on our part. We called and pleaded with the staff (as well as the manager) to work out something for us. Instead of helping us, all they could do was avoid all responsibilities. They claim that they are just a venue and are not profitting from the show, which is purely untruthful. To make the matter worse, they were rude and blamed us for missing the show. First, they should never have blamed the customer even if the customer is wrong (esp. since we admitted to our fault). Second, I am sure they could have worked with us if they are really willing. Needless to say, my gf and I will never go to another show at that place. Unless you are perfect and have never been late in your life for whatever the reason may be, you can expect to lose your money and feel a big disappointment like us. I abhor writing reviews since most people do not report the truth (do not report their fault) and only one side of the story, and I would hate for my comment to be buried among them.
