B Ocean Fort Lauderdale Review

The first hotel launched by the new "B" hotel brand merges trendiness with affordability in a 13-story U-shaped tower overlooking the ocean. Sometimes the marketing similarities between the B Ocean Fort Lauderdale and its one-letter neighbor (the W Fort Lauderdale) are uncanny; however, B Ocean offers a lower price point, which translates to less bling and far fewer common spaces. That said, B Ocean is a fabulous choice for chic, clean, linear style guest rooms with pops of tropical colors and all the amenities you'd want in a youthful, beachfront hotel. Though B Ocean's exterior still harbors its original 70s architecture, the outward facing U-shape facilitates ocean views from every room in the house. Downstairs, sushi hotspot SAIA is a favorite among locals.
