Casa D'Angelo Review

Owner-chef Angelo Elia has created a gem of a Tuscan-style white-tablecloth restaurant, tucked in the Sunrise Square shopping center. Casa D'Angelo's oak oven turns out marvelous seafood and beef dishes. The pappardelle with porcini mushrooms takes pasta to pleasant heights. Another favorite is the calamari and scungilli salad with garlic and lemon. Ask about the oven-roasted fish of the day or the snapper oreganta at market price.

    Simply the best Italian food in S. Florida. It is a special occaision destination & invent as many special occaisions as you can afford. There are many much more expensive. However the back rooms are too far to walk except for trained athletes. The kitchen is not always reliable and while service can miss once in a while beware management, that is, the maitre'd. He seemes to have forgetten at times his polish.
