Dania Beach Hurricane
Dania Beach Hurricane Review
Accessed via Boomers! fun park, and visible from Interstate 95, this isn't the world's highest, fastest, or longest roller coaster, but it's near the top in all those categories, and ranks as the tallest wooden coaster south of Atlanta. This retro-feel ride creaks like an old staircase while you race along 3,200 feet of track and plummet from 100 feet at speeds up to 55 mph. Access to the park is free, but the Hurricane will cost you $6 per ride, or $13 for an all-day wristband.
