Fodor's Review:

At the edge of Hollywood lies Seminole Native Village, a reservation where you can pet a cougar, hold a baby alligator, and take in wildlife demonstrations. The Seminole also sell their art and crafts here.

Across the street, the Seminole Casino of Hollywood (4150 N. State Rd. 7, 33021. 954/961-3220) is open 24/7 and, although downscale in atmosphere compared to the newer, glitzy Seminole Hard Rock, has bingo, poker, and more than 1,000 slot machines.

  • Cost: Self-guided tour $5, guided tour $10
  • Open: Daily 10-4
