Pelican Grand Beach Resort Review

Smack on the beach, this already lovely property has been transformed with a new tower, restaurant and lounge, an old-fashioned ice-cream parlor, and a circulating lazy-river pool that allows guests to float 'round and 'round. Most rooms and one-bedroom suites have ocean views. (Pelican fans of old may care to know that the original Sun Tower has gotten a makeover but now operates separately from the resort). Free Wi-Fi is available in public spaces and by the pool.

    Hotel Amenities

  • 121 rooms (remainder of 155 total are condominiums).
  • Restaurant, bar, pool.
  • Rooms have: a/c, Internet, Wi-Fi.
  • Rate includes no meals.

This is a beautiful, gracious, modern hotel, with direct access to the beach. The old world beachside porch and dining is fabulous, and the staff could not have been nicer (while dealing with a power failure). Decent value for money too. I would go back to this one...
