Fishing

Fisher Family Pier. After an $11.5 million rebuild, the 900-foot-long pier (formerly Pompano Beach Pier) boasts shade structures, plenty of seating, Wi-Fi, and an underwater camera that allows for fish watching. The end of the pier is appropriately built into the shape of a Pompano fish. Anglers brag about catching barracuda, jack, and snapper here in the same sitting, along with bluefish, cobia, and, yes, even pompano. 222 N.
