Fodor's Review:
Dating from the Civil War, Fort Barrancas has picnic areas and a 1/2-mi woodland nature trail on its grounds. The fort, which is just northeast of the Museum of Naval Aviation, is part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore, maintained by the National Park Service.
